Man's Rights and Duties!!

There were lots of buzz heard on the eve the 63rd Republic day on television, that whether as a citizen of India, do we really forget the duties toward our country? We all talks about the violations of rights given by the constitution of India, but aren't we forgetting the differentiation between our duties and rights? These questions made me write a few brief essential points.

In every country’s law, there are certain duties as well as rights enforcing to every citizen of that country. But still we have seen that none of the country has the perfect administration over the people and same much to that, people of that country are not reciprocated in the perfect manner. So, what’s lacking in the whole system of administration?

In my opinion, it’s the education system which is not able to impart the perfect knowledge to country’s children. No doubt to progress in the material world, we required the science, technology etc. but what’s more important than material education, is the spiritual education which every people should know irrespective of caste, color and creed. It's so hard to remember that, we are human being with higher consciousness and not a machine.

What our duties as human being towards every living creature in this world? In the material plane, definitely we are Indian, but before that we are human being first. Education should instruct the students to be truthful, moral, fearless, humble, merciful and show love towards every living creature in this world. Why would this be important for us? if we knew the answer then, wouldn't have seen so many slaughterhouse in the country. The spiritual education is the necessity of time which is to be taught in home as well as in the school.

A fully divine person is a fully human being no matter what religion, caste, creed one may follow. Every human being wants happiness and when spirituality become the core of the country then rights and duties will become obsolete?

p.s: btw writing did help me to keep a good mental appetite, and make me sleep well :)

A new social revolution..!!

The present system of modern society being very much corrupted and misguided by the corrupt, unqualified and unskilled leaders, who have lots of academic degree from big and modern schools but actually not having love, humbleness in heart.

The words mentioned above like unqualified, unskilled are contradictory if one has academic degree, but have relevance in spiritual plane. Unless one loves the other person, how on earth he could work for masses' welfare? Its mention in reveled scripture that all living being are part and parcel of God and if one cannot love other living being then one could not love God. Unless one cannot serve the God, than how on earth one could serve the masses?

If one thinks that, he is everything then the negative energy, pride and glory for material possession will be generated in oneself and because of it corruption and moral perversion will start in society, which we are facing in modern society. So, don’t you think now the time has come for self introspection and asking question?

Why are we greedy?

Why need sycophants?
Unless we have inner peace, humbleness then, how on earth our leader will have these qualities? Leaders are nothing but the person among us. God has given us the positive energy; we called it rationality, not for seeking material pleasure but for self realization.
We have seen, so many mass movements throughout history for eradication of corruption prevailing in society and one such movement Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement, but none of movements were successful. We want RamRajya or utopian Society but we are forgetting that without Ram (referring qualities of high moral character leader) there cannot be RamRajya. Now it’s time for Spiritual revolution and we need at once.

Supreme Truth..!!

Recently, I read the article by the noted physicist, titled “origin of universes” and it is pointed out that, the origin of universes started from one single point and it will go on expanding and after some time (that could be millions of year) it will be merged in the single point and much to my surprise, the same thing I read in Bhagavad Gita, in which Supreme Personality of God-Head said to Arjuna:

Paras tasmat tu bhavohyo

Vyakto vyaktat sanatanah

Yah sa survesu bhutesu

Nesyatsu na vimasyate || [B.G 8.20]

“Yet there is another nature, which is eternal and is transcendental to manifested and unmanifested matter. It is supreme and is never annihilated when all this world is annihilated, that part remain as it is”

It is stated here that, whole universe started from single point and will be merged in single point. Is it not seen that a plant grows from seed and tree grows from plant? And the tree dies out at the same point. This analogy is correctly confirming the physicist article, which is nothing but the words of supreme personality of God-head. Yet people are searching the origin of universes which is not possible to find out by material senses or by material equipment’s. The foolish people are not accepting the naked fact – “it’s not possible by human being to challenge the God words and considering the origin of nature accidently or perchance”

Considering the example of man created the robot can’t be taken as supremeness because though man created the robot but the same robot can’t produce another robot. But in a contrary God created the man and the same man can produce many men. So, one has to understand that supreme personality of God-Head created the man with maximum I.Q or Higher consciousness not for creating the robot but to use this higher consciousness for god realization because sooner or later everything on this material plane will be annihilated.

Cow Slaughter Banned in MP

Recently, I read article in newspaper that, M.P state government has enacted the law “ban on cow slaughter” and those who not abide the law will be imprisoned for 7 years as a maximum punishment. There was the time when people considered the cow as holy but it was long ago, now people want to eat animal’s flesh and drink their blood like asuras (sinful and materialist). In nature every species has the certain specified foods and for human being milk, vegetable, fruit are prescribed in vedas. Milk, the unique food available in nature because it nothing but blood converted naturally from cow’s body. Then, is it justified to kill a cow whose milk human being drink. Is it like if cow stop giving milk then sends her to slaughter house?

One may ask the question, what is mother?

atma-mata guru patni

brähmani raja-patnika

dhenur dhätré tathä prithvi

[vedas, saptaita matarah smrtah]

In vedas, it is mentioned that one has seven mothers. Seven kinds of mothers according to Vedic injunction are Birth Mother, Mother Nature, Mother Cow, Mother Nurse, Mother of Brahman, Mother Queen, and Mother Wife of spiritual guru. Cow considers as our mother because she nourishes us with her mighty milk and in whole life time one depend on her. We all drink cow’s milk therefore cow is our mother. So, is it justified to send her for slaughter when she became old and stopped giving us the milk? You wouldn't send your mother to slaughter, would you?

Now the time has come to think over inner or internal life, and search for the perfect answer of following question. Are we going to struggle to fit ourselves within the so called development, where our mother cows are sending to slaughter? Aren’t we going to follow the life as supreme personality God-head instructed us? Without Ram, how can there be a Ramrajya?

Irony Of Our Time...!!

I’m still searching the answers of my previous note’s question and will post in coming day but in a meantime there is problem which needs to be answered immediately. I’m recognizing the fact that the problem will never be solved if it’s not being addressed before getting more intense and situation may get escalate.

In today’s world, most of the people are forgetting the underlying moral value behind the façade of material life. The very good example we have seen recently in a newspapers article about the girl’s entry in Indian cinema. Girl who has been a porn actress is now set to enter in Bollywood. The profession which is already banned or illegal in country’s law, which is also condemned in civilized life is now acknowledging by Indian cinema industry. It’s not like that the girl has chosen the profession by forced or poor condition of her family (even in that case also someone can’t fall in menial life) but she did merely having and nothing more the low moral and spiritual purpose. That’s why one should search the purpose in life beyond gaining wealth, prestige, and cults of society. Such a low profession cannot be justified by the argument of public demand Because in the age of kali (kaliyuga) people will degrade in spiritual value but it a duty of sattvicsociety (society having quality of purity, calmness, serenity, joy, strength, goodness) to discourage such a low profession, and help people to abandon the tamo-guna and become a sattivc quality person. A Tamasic person lacks intelligence and is inclined to indulge in meaningless and low in character activities which not only oneself is affected but it lead the disease spread out among person nearby. No government or any authority can check the tamo-guna of a person except by families’ values. Every person someday will become parent if that person is not sattvic than how on earth their children will sattvic in character. The above stated tamasic girl is not selected in Indian cinema because of her acting skill so it’s obvious that her entry will lead a low and downcast Indian society. She has to abandon her previous profession before entering in Bollywood so that a positive message will go in Society. Government should bring strict laws such that it will discourage the society to professing suchtamsic element but overall it’s a responsibility of parent to teach sattva-guna to their offspring because children learn moral values mainly within their families. Recently I come across a picture of parent boozing in a party and a small kid seeing the activities. Teenagers and even small kids, see drinking portrayed as a normal thing hence conclude that cool people do. Some Kids think that following the family values promote conservative and orthodox morality but the same kid when become a parent then instead of criticizing the Sattva-guna will think Moral values are important. The big problem is Television and movies that show how normal it is for teenagers to involve in tamsicactivities. If pornography is legal in western culture than let it be but don’t spread the disease in our culture through Indian cinema. People in general believe that cinema reflects the society and if cinema degrade then it should be made responsible. Everybody has rights to watch good cinema but the multiplexes are jammed with vulgar movies ( the so called modern flicks ) with vulgar Heroines. The conclusion of whole note is that if society which is a mirror image of cinema, has stronger moral values than no outside influence deter our coming Gen-Next from the path of purity, calmness, serenity, joy, strength, goodness.

Mind in Doubt..!!

I write this note after struggling hard from myself to draw out the answer of the questions which I regularly question from myself these days. The foremost question which comes to my mind is what In my previous post, I wrote, can we call this world as civilized if we not respect and love our brother and sisters and will keep doing what dog do in dog's society? The whole World is Fighting for Sense Gratification ( enjoying the pleasures that arise from the senses) which quite the same as what a dog does, then what the difference between a dog and man? and I wonder whether one involves in the senses is the right thing for Man? and with the results of that man is always getting trouble everywhere.Second question which comes to my mind is that, if a dog will recognize his master in whatever dress he wears than why human being is not able to recognize his master (supreme personality of God-head) and why all religion (Hindu,Muslims, christian e.t.c) are fighting and what are they fighting for?Another question which ponders in my mind from quite long period of time is that, if we after death will leave each and every belonging of our in this world only, than why there is all hasten or competition of acquiring the wealth and not considering the thing which we can carry after death (you guys are thinking of what this special thing that we can carry with us. The thing is KARMA). why one is showing courtesy to those who benefits one personally, but not showing the courtesy to the one who does good( the God Almighty) not for this world but for whole universe.Still searching for the answers and quite confident to find the answers and will post the Answers in the next Note.

Making society Safe and secure?

Whenever I sit on roof top of my home, I always muse whether our culture values of society is safe and secure, whether are we going to give the age old tradition of culture to our Gen Next, which we get from our forefather then trust me I feel very Low and Panic to even think that our future Gen Next will come out as degraded person not in term of material wealth but in terms Spiritual wealth and Happiness.

Reason behind this thinking is that currently we are in our lowest ebb of Age old culture and soon our coming generation will forget the moral and spiritual values.

There was the time when we felt ashamed of watching even romantic songs with our older people, but now I have seen so many people watching so called liberal movies with their kids and old parents. Kinfolks drinking alcohol together..we will find so many real life incidents that our old man never did in their time.

Are we really serious about the culture security of our society? can we stop our society from becoming to Dogs society? These are the few simple questions required to be addressed and Not to my surprise I don't find iota of hope of any solution to these simple question. Now take the example of Dog: when we have some eatables then dog comes barking and we say Shu..shu..!! and he goes away. But he comes again- Why? because he has no memory. similarly when our memory diminishes, our society will soon become dog's society that mean we are forgetting the Teaching of Bhagavad-Gita.

tatas canudiam dharmah

satyam saucam ksama daya

katena balina rajan

nanksyaty ayur balamsmrtih [B.G,12.2.1]

:Religion,truthfulness,cleanliness,mercy,duration of life, bodily strength and memory all will diminish in the age of kaliyuga [Science of self realization,Nov2009]

Dog eat... we eat (for the sake of taste buds), dog sleep....we sleep (even in day time),dog fear...we fear (even knowing that nobody by any weapon kill Soul), dog mate...we Mate (like no self control), then what is the difference between dogs and human being?........one thing I forgot..dog walk with four leg... we drive on four wheel. So, are we call this a Civilization? !!

The article published by Indian Express "http://www.indianexpress.com/news/by-endorsing-gita-Gandhi-condoned-violence/896936/0" shows that the author has poor understanding of sacred Text or just relying on unauthorized writer's commentary on Bhagavad-gita. Perhaps the author who wrote the article in Indian express shows his foolishness. one should restrict oneself from writing the article if he/she is not the not expert in spiritualism because what the Bhagavad-gita tell us that one should perform it dharma as this is not it duty but the order of supreme personality of God-Head.
